Maya Forstater Won!
The judgement in Maya Forstater’s employment appeal tribunal came out today. She won! (You can read the full judgment here if you’re interested in the details). It’s great to see the right decision was made. Although she should never have been put in this position. Also, it could be appealed at the Supreme Court. So we can’t get too excited yet. But we can still be pleased to see the right decision was made today.
The verdict also marks the turning of the tide in the transgender debate. These past couple of weeks have been huge for transgenderism. First, we had the Stonewall exodus, where many large organisations left Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Program. Then, we had the Lisa Keogh case. Keogh, a law student at Abertay University, was cleared of misconduct by her university after she said only women have vaginas. Plus, we’ve seen public support for Marion Millar (who I wrote about last week). She has raised £30,000 within 24 hours to defend her case. Which shows that the public are fed up of the tyranny of the transgender movement. At last, people are waking up to the realities of the dangers of the transgender movement.
Today is a good day for gender-critical feminists everywhere. It’s a victory for common sense and free speech. A victory for the right to criticise the government. And the direction the law is going in. A victory for our right to a private life, where work cannot police our personal thoughts expressed on social media. As well as a recognition that the sex binary is a fact. Let’s hope there are more victories in the future.
